Who is Allen Paint?

Joe mixing auto paint 448x303James Allen, a Lieutenant in the 101st Airborne (Battle of the Bulge ) started Allen Paint Supply Company in 1951 at 257 Broadway. In 1968 Jim purchased the building at 141 South Broadway, where Allen Paint did business till 2006. Jerry McIlvain, who managed the company for the Allen Family from 1974 on, purchased the trade name Allen Paint in 1986 and is still the owner/manager. The new store at 1943 South Broadway offers easy access, parking, friendly service, questions answered and problems solved.
